L artiste : France Courpotin est une fille du sud. Née à Mazamet en 1972, elle a suivi des études de science politique de Toulouse 1 à la Sorbonne. Titulaire d un DESS de communication politique et sociale, elle a d'abord travaillé dans la publicité. Vivant à Aix en Provence, elle est passionnée par la danse et surtout par la peinture. L œuvre : La peinture de France Courpotin s'impose d'abord par l'originalité de son style. Coloriste innée, sa palette chromatique, généreuse et chatoyante est d'une infinie diversité. Ses thèmes de prédilection situent également son œuvre dans la peinture contemporaine. Le premier est celui d'un corps féminin omniprésent, idéalisé et toujours en mouvement qui exprime probablement, la passion de l'artiste pour la danse contemporaine. Son goût prononcé pour le décryptage de la complexité de l'âme humaine débouche également sur des portraits saisissants de réalité psychologique. Enfin, le haut degré d'abstraction de certaines de ses œuvres permet à l'artiste la fascinante libération d'une énergie créatrice sans cesse renouvelée.

The artist : France Courpotin is a French Southern woman. She was born in Mazamet in 1972, she studied Political Science in Toulouse and in La Sorbonne University. She got a Phd in social and political communication and then worked in the advertising business. She lives in Aix en Provence, she is fond of dancing and above all painting. Her work : First of all France Courpotin's paintings highlight the originality of her style, she is a born-colorist painter,her generous sparkling colourful palette represents an endless diversity. Her favourite themes also set her work in contemporary painting. The first one is the omnipresent idealized woman moving body which mainly expresses the artist's passion for contemporary dance. Her strong taste for reading the complexity of the human soul can also be seen in the striking portraits of a psychological reality. Finally, the high level of abstraction of some of her works enables her to reach a fascinating freedom in her constantly renewed creative energy.
